Uganda, located in East Africa, has a population of 49.4 million people, with 78% being young individuals who hold particular significance for ThinkOcean Uganda. The network was established in 2020 to extend the vision and mission of ThinkOcean to Uganda's youth. The national chapter consists of a dedicated team of 20+ members, aligned with the mother organization's objectives on ocean education and sensitization, and committed to nurturing projects that focus on the mission while undertaking operations that impact their local communities. Our motto, "Act locally, Think globally," has enabled us to educate hundreds of people in our community and lead others by example.
